Lieutenant Governor's Leadership Forum - Deadline May 1, 2009.
This forum brings together 18 Saskatchewan youth in grades 11 and 12 who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in their schools and communities. From October 12-23, 2009, these students will travel the province, meet successful people from various sectors and take part in a variety of experiences designed to strengthen the mind, body and their leadership potential.
Upon completing the program, they will receive a 30 level Special Project Credit toward their high school graduation requirements and a certificate of participation in the physical activity/fitness component.
Selection criteria will include: leadership in school activities, leadership in the community, academic achievement, an essay outlining leadership experiences, as well as prior accomplishments, recognition, awards, honours and scholarships.
