Katimavik: "Get a Life"

Students who are looking at taking a gap year and want a competitive edge before starting post secondary education who are not bound by conventions and want to explore their interests, wanting to make a difference in society and who are adventurous and ready to live in different areas of Canada can appply for the Katimavik program.

There is an option to choose between six and nine month programs. Three new program tracks include Cultural Discovery and Civic Engagement, Eco-Citizenship and Active Living and Second Language and Cultural Diversity.

Katimavik is open to all young Canadians ages 17 - 21 and is funded by the Government of Canada.
