Women in Agriculture Contest and Conference

Women in Ag is a group whose mission is to empower, support and connect women in agriculture, while strengthening the industry as a whole.

One of the ways we realize this mission is through our CONNECT – The Heart of the Farm Conference, that takes place in Saskatoon every November.  In addition to educational and inspirational speakers aimed to develop ones personal and professional growth, the conference also provides the opportunity to connect and learn with individuals from all throughout the province, working in various roles in the agriculture industry.  With a goal of celebrating all women in agriculture speakers cover topics ranging from Conflict Management, to Women’s Health, to Farm Stress, to Business Management and so much more.  With an underlying theme of Cultivating Confidence. Anyone could benefit from this event, regardless of age or background.

Deadline: This year, Women in Ag are sponsoring a High School contest where students can apply to receive free admission to the event.  Details on the program are below,:

Application Process - Deadline September 30
Submit a short video or written essay to info@womeninag.ca telling us why you should be chosen to attend CONNECT – The Heart of the Farm Conference, along with a teacher referral.
