WiTech Workshop at Sask Polytechnic

This hands-on, half-day workshop for women ages 16+ offers an introduction to the Integrated Resource Management, Geographic Information Science, and Resource and Environmental Law programs. This workshop explores careers such as a biologist, a forester, or nature interpreter; careers in digital mapping, data analysis and Global Positioning System (GPS); or careers in conservation law enforcement.

MC College Scholarship

 MC College is an accredited institution across western Canada with 6 campuses in total offering Hairstyling and Esthetics programs.  The purpose of our scholarship is to encourage creative young individuals interested in pursuing a career in the Salon or Spa Industry.


Click here and you will find the guidelines and application process for students wishing to apply for the scholarship. This scholarship has a value of $1000 and may be applied to either our full time Hairstyling or full time Esthetics program at MC College.

Gerry McCudden Memorial Scholarship


Deadline: June 13, 2016
Amount: $2000.00
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating grade 12 student who is seeking financial assistance for post-secondary studies. It is competitive and merit-based as applicants must have a minimum average of 80% and must demonstrate leadership.

Education Deadline Extended at U of R

The Faculty of Education has extended their application deadline to June 1st!
Please advise any students who are still interested in applying to submit their applications before June 1st!
Note: All education applications received before the March 1st deadline have entered the selection process and these students will begin to hear back from the Faculty of Education by mid-April.

Also a reminder that even though the Priority Deadline has passed, students can continue to apply for most programs until August 15th.

This is a post-secondary education information session and orientation for new Canadians in grades 11 and 12.
Date will be confirmed shortly!

URBeginning! - May 6th
New students to the U of R will soon be able to register for Fall courses. Newly admitted students should attend URBeginning! and get to know their soon-to-be home - the University of Regina. May 6th is the first day that students can register in classes, so attendees will be the first to register in courses, plus they will enjoy additional sessions and events.
Registration will go live from our website in the next couple of weeks, and students will be sent an invitation.

Admission Deadlines:
  • *Education Extension - June 1st*
  • Priority Deadline for all other faculties (excluding Nursing) - March 15th
    • Students can still apply after March 15, however they will not be entered for the free tuition draw, and will not be able to apply for entrance scholarships
