Winners
Ten provincial winners and one representing the Territories will be hosted at the Fleet Reviews. Western and Territory Winners will be hosted in Esquimalt, B.C.; Eastern Winners will be hosted in Halifax, N.S.
Scholarships
Each of the 11 winners will also receive a scholarship of $2,000. An overall winner will receive an additional$3,000.
Participants are invited to choose a topic and express their creativity through an essay, poem or
original artwork.

The evolutionary era 1910 - 1939
RCN Coming of Age 1939 – 1945
The RCN and the Cold War.
The Impact of Hellyer’s Amalgamation
The Canadian Navy in the 21st Century
The Arctic Ocean in dispute.
Evaluation
A team of teachers will judge the submissions and select 100 for final evaluation by an NOAC panel of judges.
