Canada World Youth

With Canada World Youth, teams of 18 young people from different cultures spend a total of six months away from their homes, living together for 3 months in a Canadian community and three months in a community in one of Africa, Asia, the Carribbean, Eastern Europe or Latin America. Programs generally start in late August and end in March. Eligible participants are between 17 and 24 years of age, Canadian citizens, in good health, open-minded and flexible and highly motivated.

CWY also offers more speicalized programs for people who meet specific requirements. In addition they offer Global Learner Programs, which are shorter and carreied out in partnership with schools and community organizations.
