ISAP offers new
Indigenous students access to small cohort Learning Communities (LCs)
that provide a strong start to diverse degree and certificate
pathways while boosting academic confidence and celebrating student
potential.
In ISAP, students
will:
- Select two to five
popular 100-level courses offered in themed ISAP LCs each term
- Study with
culturally-responsive instructors and peers with similar academic
interests and goals
- Connect in weekly
meetings with upper-year Indigenous student mentors, amazing role
model speakers, and USask alumni
- Benefit from financial
advocacy and inter-college transition support (e.g. students
interested in nursing or engineering pathways)
- Receive an invitation to
ISAP's Summer Start held August 22-24!
New Indigenous
students can reserve a seat in ISAP First Year LCs and STEM Accelerator Courses for
this fall by following these steps:
- Apply for admission to USask
- Accept their offer of admission online through
their USask admissions account
- Complete the online ISAP intake survey,
which opens Monday,
April 4, 2022.
