U of S Registration Updates

Applications open now
Applications for most of uSask's programs for 2018-2019 are now open. Using the new system, students are able to create accounts, which allow them to submit and monitor applications, upload select documents, track when items have been received, and download their decision letters electronically, all from within their profile. Other changes to the application for admission
In addition to the ability for students to create accounts to submit and monitor their applications, there are a few other changes to the application process:
  • Current students' class schedules/timetables can be entered within the application and are no longer required to be sent by email.
  • The application fee is now required to submit the application. Applicants in Canada should be prepared to submit their application with credit card information. Students living outside Canada have the additional option to pay using the Flywire international payment system.
  • Decision letters will be available for download from students' accounts. Letters will also continue to be mailed to applicants living within Canada and the U.S.
Education admissions updates
Consideration for admission to the four-year, direct-entry Bachelor of Education program is now based solely on admission average. Applicants can be considered for early admission if they apply by December 1 and have an admission average of 75% or higher. The final application deadline is Feb. 15 and the expected target average for competitive ranking-based admission is 70%. Special consideration is available to applicants for whom extenuating or special circumstances might have affected admissibility. Admission to the Bachelor of Education program is available at any of uSask's off-campus sites for students wishing to complete the first year of their program outside of Saskatoon.

Animal Bioscience
Consideration for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Animal Bioscience is now based on a competitive ranking. This means that applicants are ranked competitively by admission average following the application deadline and spaces will be offered to the top applicants. Applicants who apply by Dec. 1 and have an admission average of 85% or higher will be considered for early admission. Remaining seats will be allocated following the Feb. 15 deadline; the expected target average for regular admission is 80%.
