UBC Summer Scholars Program

The University of British Columbia is thrilled to announce the Summer Scholars Program is now open to high school applicants for summer 2015.
Students will spend two weeks this July engaged in hands-on research and learning with UBC professors at the beautiful Okanagan campus - a total university experience.

Two exciting courses to choose from

Environmental Sciences, in which students tackle the hot topic of sustainability, and explore it through field research in lab and natural surroundings of the Okanagan valley.
New this year! Applied Science, in which students are introduced to the design process through applied engineering projects, and explore topics ranging from robotics technology to 3D printing.

How will your students benefit from the program?

They'll be connected to ideas and people that have global influence and get a taste of a world-class university-level education.

  • Meet and make friends from all over the world [video] - more than 70 students from 27 countries have participated so far
