Garfield Weston Entrance Awards

The Garfield Weston Awards program is designed to recognize outstanding college-bound students who show a strong commitment to their fields of study and are interested in making positive contributions to their communities.

The Garfield Weston Awards program will distribute up to 25 Entrance Garfield Weston Awards to students entering their first year of college or CEGEP studies in Canada for use during the 2009-2010 academic year. Each Entrance Garfield Weston Award comprises a tuition waiver from a consortium college renewable for one or two additional years; an $8,000 stipend renewable for one or two additional years; access to summer program funding, up to $3,500; and mentorship.
