Forum for Young Canadians

Approximately 450 students from across the country selected to participate in this event each year. The “Forum experience” brings students to Ottawa for an intensive academic adventure that immerses them in the exciting world of national politics and public affairs.
*Dates are subject to change due to the schedule of when the House of Commons will be sitting.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

When: Four week-long sessions are offered each Spring
Where: Held in Ottawa - most seminars and simulations are held on Parliament Hill. Accomodations are in a hotel in downtown Ottawa.
What: A bilingual, non-partisan experience to develop leadership skills and to learn about democracy, how government works and how YOU can make a difference!

Who: Up to 125 students (aged 15-19 years) from across Canada each session. See our Eligibility section for more details.
Why: You meet great people from across the country and develop your leadership skills through a stimulating, high-intensity and fun program!
