U. of A - Discovery Day

Discovery Day for Families living outside of EdmontonThe Office of the Registrar and Student Awards at the University of Alberta will be hosting its bi-annual rural Discovery Day for students, parents, and counsellors from outside of Edmonton on the central campus in Edmonton on Friday, March 30, 2007. This event is an excellent opportunity for you and your students to experience the campus, programs and activities first-hand! Discovery Day participants will have the opportunity to meet with prominent graduate students and Faculty representatives. These graduate students will share their U of A experience and also speak about their inspirational cutting-edge research. In addition, representatives from the Office of the Registrar and Student Awards, Campus Saint Jean, Augustana Campus, Residence Services, and Campus Ambassadors will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about and provide information on housing, scholarships and the many degree programs offered at the U of A. Students will also be able to go on a campus and residence tour.Details will be sent to schools outside of Edmonton and Calgary at the end of January.
