Place on the Saskatoon campus.
Graduation Powwow honours the academic achievements of Métis, First Nations and
Inuit graduates from USask and local secondary schools.
The powwow is also a time to celebrate the Indigenous community and culture at
USask and around the province. This is the largest annual Indigenous event held
by USask and attracts over 2,500 participants each year.
Attendees have the
opportunity to:
• celebrate and honour Indigenous graduates from USask and local secondary
schools
• listen to traditional First Nations drumming and singing
• watch a variety of traditional First Nations and Métis dance styles
• participate in educational children's workshops
• enjoy delicious food
