Electrician Program at Biggar and Swift Current

Great Plains College offers the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Electrician program at our campuses in Biggar and Swift Current.
This is a four month applied certificate program. Tuition for this program at Great Plains College is approximately $2,674; this is a fraction of the cost of tuition for the same program in larger centers.  To read more about the electrician program visit www.greatplainscollege.ca/electrician

Scholarships for this program are available for students who apply before April 30th. Scholarships are grades based – starting at 70% average – and range from $500-$5000. Access Communications Scholarship Program

DELTA CO-OP HAS A BRAND NEW SCHOLARSHIP!
We are taking our old application form & essay scholarship structure and breathing new life into it!  Our new scholarship event will see students compete in teams of TWO (2) in a photo/video scavenger hunt that will take place over the course of ONE (1) week.  Students from the ENTIRE Delta Co-op trading area (Macklin, Unity, Luseland, Wilkie, etc.) will all compete against each other for the GRAND PRIZE!
WHEN: Friday, May 25 - Friday, June 1st, 2018.  Tasks can be completed during students’ personal time OR during school hours where appropriate AND ONLY with teacher/school approval if during class time.
PRIZES: •GRAND PRIZE for the first place team is $2000 ($1000 to each team member). •SECOND PLACE will receive $800 ($400 to each team member) * Supplementary prizes may also be awarded over the course of the event at the discretion of the

Saskatchewan School Boards Association Education Scholarships

Deadline: August 31, 2018

Each year, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association awards two $2,500 scholarships to graduating Saskatchewan high school students going into post-secondary study:
Degree Program Scholarship: $2,500
Technical/Trade Program Scholarship: $2,500

Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Scholarships

Deadline: Friday, May 4, 4:30 pm
Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) has a scholarship program for undergraduate students. Each spring SPG awards five undergraduate scholarships to first-year students enrolled in the fall in a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary agriculture program. To be eligible for one of these scholarships the student or the student’s parent(s) must be an active pulse producer in Saskatchewan (i.e. he/she has sold a Saskatchewan-grown pulse crop in the last two crop years).
