Canadian Mennonite University Scholarship and Essay Contests

The CMU Spring Scholarship Contest is open to all high school and post-secondary students who have not yet received a scholarship from CMU. Students must simply meet the eligibility requirements, and complete the entry form.

Three winners will be randomly selected and can choose one of the following prize packages, all worth approximately $700.

Tuition – One free 3 credit hour course
Meals & Parking – 78 dining hall lunch tickets plus one 8-month CMU parking pass Textbook – $700 store credit at CommonWord Bookstore and Resource Centre

The Spring Scholarship Contest closes May 15, 2019.

CMU Essay Contest

CMU is calling for critical, engaging essays that creatively address
one of the following questions:

1. Should schools grade students?
2. In a democratic society, can the media ever be the enemy of the people?
3. How real is virtual presence?

First Prize: $300 cash + $200 tuition
Second & Third Prize: $100 cash + $200 tuition
