Annual First Nations Uniersity Career Fair - March 3/4

This is your invitation to the annual First Nations University of Canada Career Fair. Local and national businesses and organizations will be available to engage with students about potential career options. FNUniv Student Success Services presentations will be built into the schedule for participants to learn about career planning, FNUniv registration and student supports. 

This year, the FNUniv Career Fair will be virtual via Zoom and held over the course of 4 afternoons (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) on March 3rd &  4th, 2021.  

This event will be helpful for students who are interested in connecting and engaging with potential employers. The registration link is below. An email to all registrants with more details will be sent out shortly after registration is received.

Conexus Yout Leadership Award

 

Deadline April 16 - Apply for the 2021 Youth Leadership Award

We’re turning to our schools and our communities to help us recognize and celebrate young leaders. Those who are helping to improve the wellbeing of our communities.

The Conexus Youth Leadership Award recognizes graduating high school students across Saskatchewan who show leadership in everything they do. They try to make their corner of the world a better place and make a difference in their communities.

 

Conexus will award ten grade 12 students across Saskatchewan with $1,500 and recognize them through our social media channels. Each winner will receive a $500 cash prize and $1,000 deposited into a Conexus term account, which can be withdrawn after one year, starting June 1, 2021.

Access Communications Doug Alexander Scholarship Program

As a 100% Saskatchewan-owned, not-for-profit co-operative, Access Communications is committed to giving back to our communities. We believe making the world a better place starts with supporting our future leaders and community champions.

Every year, the Access Communications Doug Alexander Scholarship Program awards $1,000 to 20 high school graduates from across Saskatchewan. Our scholarship recipients don’t just exhibit academic excellence – they demonstrate a genuine passion for volunteerism, giving their time to improve their communities.

If you know a student with a record of volunteerism, participation in extra-curricular school activities, leadership skills, and academic achievement, please encourage them to apply for our scholarship program. We have included a program poster with this letter, which you can hang in your school or distribute to graduating students.
