March 31 nomination deadline - The Canada Day Youth Award is designed to recognize and reinforce the oustanding achievements and contributions ofyoung people to their communities. Potential recipients must be 18 years of age or younger and have made a truly exceptional contrubition in any number of areas, with a suggested minimum of 100 hours of service.
Selection is based on community participation, promotion of Canadian values and sustainable development initiatives.
