Deadline - January 31, 2007 - The Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program encourages and rewards graduating high school students who have distinguished themselves through environmental community service, extracurricular and volunteer activities and academic excellence. These scholarships are offered to students entering their first year of post-secondary education in the discipline of their choice.
Fifteen awards of $5000 are offered annually, to be applied directly towards tuition, books, room and board or other educational expenses for the first year post-secondary full time studies in Canada.
A national winner, selected from the fifteen regional winners will be awarded an Outstanding Environmental Achievement Award and a Panasonic notebook computer at the national awards ceremony. See www.earthday.ca or www.toyota.ca for further details.
