Application for admission to the University of Alberta opened October 1 and is available at uab.ca/apply. Students are encouraged to apply early as admission is competitive and space in our programs is limited. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and offers are administered on a rolling basis. If a student is not immediately admissible to their program(s) of choice, they will be reassessed if/when new information is received or if our admission parameters change.
To
assist students with the application process, we have updated two of our key
websites, uab.ca/start and uab.ca/apply. We are also creating a series of
videos to guide students through the application process, starting with
‘Preparing to Apply’, which can also be found on uab.ca/apply. In addition, we are hosting
Submitting Your Application workshops to further aid students and answer their
questions.
Here
are a couple quick reminders about the University of Alberta application:
- Students self-report their own
marks.
- Students are asked to report
all grade 11 and grade 12 courses.
- Students can pick two programs
on their application.
