The Peter Lewochko Scholarship – Deadline March 31,
2018
The Peter Lewochko Fund
provides an annual scholarship for students who are pursuing post-secondary
education in agriculture, engineering or education. Peter was a life-long
learner with a range of hobbies. He was born in Poland and came to Canada with
his homesteading parents. His profession was farming but he continued to pursue
his interests of gardening, bird-watching and fishing until his death in 2013.
He established this scholarship as a legacy to his belief in the value of
education.
There will
be two 2018 scholarships in the amount of $3,642 each.
Eligible Applicants
-
Students
registered in an engineering, agriculture or education program at a Canadian
University;
-
Must
have a minimum academic average of 75%; and
-
Must
demonstrate financial need.
