Discovery Days
Aboriginal Student Discovery Day - Friday, April 21, 2017The University of Alberta invites Aboriginal students in grades 10, 11, and 12 to take part in a one-day UAlberta experience at our North Campus. During Aboriginal Student Discovery Day attendees will have the opportunity to: learn about University of Alberta undergraduate programs, housing, awards, and services; connect with faculty and service representatives; meet new people from other high schools and Aboriginal communities, and; win great prizes including UAlberta apparel and more. Rural Discovery Day - Friday, May 5, 2017
Rural Discovery Day is a day-long event that introduces students from rural communities and their family members to the University of Alberta in person. Attending students will be able to get advice from current UAlberta students, speak with faculty and program advisors, learn about residence life, and meet new people from other rural communities. Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate students are invited to an exclusive reception where they will meet students who have been involved in research across all disciplines at the University of Alberta. These students are excited to share their experiences as current UAlberta students and researchers with your AP and IB students. UAlberta Day Trip - Friday, March 24, 2017
The University of Alberta invites Grade 11 students studying Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and other enriched curriculum programs from the Calgary area to visit North Campus for the day. Students will learn more about the University of Alberta, residences, faculties, and other opportunities available on campus. We are pleased to offer complimentary shuttle service for students and their guest from Calgary to Edmonton and return via Red Arrow's ebus. Further event details and RSVP information will be available soon at uab.ca/daytrip.
