The UR Gap Year is a new program for current high school students planning on
taking a year off between high school and coming to the University of Regina.
By indicating that they would like to be a part of the UR Gap Year Program, the students' admission as well as any automatic entrance
scholarships funded by the University of Regina that they were offered will be deferred for a year.
During this year, students will be able to take advantage of many
services to help them stay connected with the university and prepare them for
their first year of study or future career options, including the opportunity to
ear credit towards the UR Guarantee Program.
Students must apply to the
University of Regina and will be given the option to join the Gap Year Program
once they are granted admission.
