Deadline: Check with your local Agriculture Society for your local deadline.

AMOUNT: $1,500 will be awarded to 2 successful applicants.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Application forms will be provided to each Ag Society. It will be up to the individual Ag. Societies to nominate a student they feel deserving of the scholarship. An Ag Society must nominate applicants. The selection committee from SAASE will meet once the deadline has been reached and make a decision on the student, and award the scholarship.

APPLICANTS MUST:

Be residents of Saskatchewan.
Be planning to attend one of three post secondary education institutions in Saskatchewan: University of Saskatchewan; University of Regina; or SIAST.
Be going into their first year of post-secondary education.
Complete the first year.
Be nominated by an Agricultural Society.
APPLICANTS WILL BE SCORED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

How complete the application form is filled out.
Future plans of the applicant.
Extra-curricular involvement at school.
Community involvement.
Letters of endorsement and recommendation.
