-March 11 - North West Regional College (North Battleford) will be hosting a workshop open to all students and parents regarding scholarships, student loans and study grants. This workshop will take place from 7:00-8:00 p.m. There is no preregistration required.
-The Manitoba Science Academy provides a six week program for high school students from July 2 - August 10. This program introduces students to hands-on research and encourages them to pursue careers in science and engineering.The campus is in Pinawa, Manitoba. -Skills Work - this conference is for young women in grades 11 and 12 who are interested in skilled trades and technical professions. It involves networking events, hands-on activities and even a competitive component. This will take place on March 14 at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon. Those interested should contact your guidance counsellor.
-Ag-Citing Careers Info Day - Lakeland College, Vermilion Campus is holding this event on March 14 in order to familiarize participants with careers in the agriculture industry. Call 1.800.661.6490 for futher information.
