We find one of the greatest barriers to a student winning a scholarship is his or her lack of confidence. Please encourage your students to apply for the Foundation's 2007 scholarships—the judging criteria for which are not just academics but also a demonstrated interest and aptitude for the hospitality industry.
We offer:
Six $3,000 College Entrance Scholarships
Five $3,500 and one $1,000 University Entrance Scholarships
The student must be going into a college diploma program or a university degree program in Canada in one of the following areas of study in September of this year:
Hospitality
Hotel
Tourism
Culinary
Food and Beverage
The student must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Applications must be submitted online at www.chfscholarships.com by Monday, April 30, 2007 and we must receive transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc., also by that date.
